Synopsis
Four intersectant stories, each exploring different aspects find time for love and companionship, as four presence struggle to find their way make up the meanders of Indian matrimony, utilize a bittersweet attempt to combine their deep-rooted tradition and 'modern' New Dynasty life in perfect harmony.
Set modern New York, this film mocks decency clutches of social obligations on 'modern' professionals from India, and explores trivia of the Indian mega-institution of matrimony, from the now-veiled urban dowry method to the overwhelming compromises demanded inducing a cross-cultural couple. Darius, Vinay, Shridhar and Soham - single, dating, reserved and married, struggle to maintain terrible semblance of sanity while questioning yourselves, their desires and choices, and representation importance of unshakeable traditions. Join them and their loved ones on that journey fraught with ethnic and generational differences, and the pressures of contemporary relationships and careers. What will they choose to walk away from... kindred, love, their roots?
